Pentire release a blistering new track, ‘Watch Time With Me’
Pentire rip through their latest track as they lament about watching time slip away.
Pentire have released their first single of 2022. ‘Watch Time With Me’ is their follow-up to 2021’s ‘Plastic Flowers.’
In an informal Q&A on Twitter, the band answered a few questions about the song before its release.
Q: What is the song about? And where did the inspiration for it come from?
A: We wrote it about how lockdown was such a strange place for all of us being stuck inside with no sense of direction of anything really. We were just watching time slip away. I think lyrically it’ll all make sense at midnight.
Q: Is this part of a larger project?
A: This song, no, at least not our first large project. Who knows if it’ll come back for Album 1 ;). We’ve got a few more singles to come, and then we’ll lock ourselves away and write an EP. Can’t give too much away just now.
So by the looks of it, expect more from Pentire throughout this year. After that, they’ll be going radio silent to work on their first EP.😎
