Arky Waters delivers club-ready texture on new single ‘OMG’
Arky Waters, an Australian producer and DJ, has released his new single ‘OMG,’ out now through Mammal Sounds Records.
The production of ‘OMG’ is built around a striking vocal sample that captures a fast-moving studio session. Described as punchy and playful, the track is a club-ready release that focuses heavily on immersive and textural bass. Arky Waters spent significant time detailing the low-end of the song, carving out multiple layers to create a sense of depth. The result is a groove-driven sound that balances immediacy with finely sculpted production. The single was written and produced by Arky Waters, with mixing handled by Doug Wright and mastering completed by Suture Mastering.
Arky Waters discusses the inspiration behind the track:
“I was in the studio with a friend, and he showed me this ‘omg’ sample that I completely fell in love with. I went home and the song came together rather quickly, one of those bursts of inspiration moments. After that I spent a lot of time detailing the bass on this track, carving out all the different layers. I wanted it to feel really immersive and textural.”
