Alex Spencer unleashes fiery new Single, ‘One Step Forward’ ahead of debut EP
The 16-year-old sensation’s rapid-fire single inspires listeners to chase their dreams.
Manchester’s young songwriting prodigy, Alex Spencer, is making waves with his electrifying new single, ‘One Step Forward,’ which serves as a teaser for his eagerly anticipated debut EP of the same name, set to be released on November 10, 2023.
In ‘One Step Forward,’ Spencer encourages his audience to hold onto their teenage dreams and persevere through life’s obstacles. The song, which lasts a mere two-and-a-half minutes, is a high-energy earworm that showcases Spencer’s remarkable lyrical talents and innate gift for crafting infectious melodies.
Spencer says of the track:
“‘One Step Forward’ talks about how sometimes life can take a turn and stop you in your tracks. These things are gonna try and stop you hitting your goal but you just gotta move forward, don’t let it bother you or set you back.”
The EP, which features previous 2023 hits ‘One Way Ticket,’ ‘Do What I Wanna,’ and ‘A Night To Waste‘ offers a youthful perspective on life and its experiences, inspired by Spencer’s musical influences, including Arctic Monkeys and The Beatles. It also includes a yet-to-be-heard crowd-pleaser titled ‘Waiting For The Change.’
