Xana releases ‘babyblue’
Xana releases a nostalgic song about growing older and longing for days past.
Canadian musician Xana has released her second single of 2023. Follow up to ‘Bad Bandit‘ which dropped in February, ‘babyblue’ is the latest from Xana. The track is a bittersweet story about growing older. On it, she tells of how living one’s life and growing older inevitably leads you to become more distant from childhood friends.
Xana shares:
“It’s about the anxiety that comes with the passage of time, looking back on those imperative teenage years with nostalgia and longing, hoping that everyone who you loved, who shaped and held you in your youth, is doing alright out there without you.”
