Incorporating the bold sounds of alternative hip-hop, and smooth melodic R&B, Unusual Demont returns to deliver a reflective track and accompanying video for his new single ‘ALLTHATUWANT.’
Today, L.A.-based artist Unusual Demont returns with his chillingly crisp vocals on his new single, ‘ALLTHATUWANT’, which incorporates bold flavors of alternative hip-hop, and smooth melodic R&B. Follow-up to his mid-October single, ‘NIGHTTIME,’ ‘ALLTHATUWANT’ captures the artist’s desires during his move from Wisconson to L.A. as he left behind all that he knows in search for something more.
Speaking on the story behind the track, Unusual Demont expresses that:
“I never wanted to move from home. I left my support system in Wisconsin. Full of family, friends, and loved ones. Scared to death. I was living in spite of myself to ‘become better.’ A phrase used by people whose ideals of happiness weren’t my own. I slept in cars. On studio couches. And in the homes of kind friends. I had a lot of sessions during this time period. This is one of the songs that came from them.”
He concludes:
“With my entire life packed in the trunk of a hatchback, my mind continued to question my passion. What if this is all?”
