This Is The Kit releases new single/video ‘More Change’
The single is from the band’s upcoming new album Careful Of Your Keepers, due out on June 9th via Rough Trade Records.
This Is The Kit today shared their latest single, ‘More Change,’ from the band’s new album Careful Of Your Keepers, produced by Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals). Featuring Rhys on backing vocals the meditative track is out now alongside an adorable animated video created by Benjamin Jones that brings everyday objects to life.
Jones explains the video:
“With this video, I wanted to create something that felt homemade, organic, and very much alive. Using very simple puppetry with some old coat hangers and some basic stop motion (and some surprisingly willing neighbors who lent me their faces) I’ve tried to create a few characters and scenarios which are connected in some ways, but also reflect the themes I picked up from the music – sadness, compromise, exploring new ground, and finding new ways to help each other move forward.”
