School Disco release ‘Through Dimensions,’ their second single from their upcoming record, Denton Rock
Formed in 2016 in Brighton via Plymouth, School Disco return with a swirling track filled with creativity and imagination.
Adding to their already colorful and brazen discography, School Disco have released their latest single ‘Through Dimensions.’ Culled in a narrative that could’ve been penned by Rick and Morty’s creators, School Disco’s brand-new track is a swirling track filled with creativity and imagination. The track effortlessly travels through waves of punchy guitar lines and commanding percussion led by haunting vocals making for a cleverly concocted soundscape of psychedelia-infused punk-rock.
Talking on the track, Rory notes:
“‘Through Dimensions’ is the first song that came out of the Denton Rock writing process and is the only song I wrote myself. It’s about a really vivid dream I kept having about interplanetary rockets that can go through different wormholes. I think the reference to missiles in the lyrics is a subtle nod to the fact man has created weapons that can literally wipe the entire planet out in seconds and how normalized this has become. Nuclear paranoia is still here but extremely mild.”
‘Through Dimensions’ is available today. Denton Rock is out September 15th and is available to pre-order via Bandcamp.
