Norweigan singer/songwriter Ponette is back with a brand new single, ‘Beats Me Up’ (featuring Coucheron). The latest single arrives as a teaser from Part I of her upcoming album scheduled for a 2023 release. The track highlights Ponette’s indie-pop sound balanced by her sincere lyricism and distorted vocals.
Speaking of the new single, Ponette said:
“‘Beats Me Up’ (ft. Coucheron) was created during a massive wave of feelings. Totally overwhelming. I just had to find a way to communicate all of the raw emotions that had been building up in my body for a while, and I want the song to feel like that when you listen to it as well. I hope people can relate, and that I’m not totally crazy.”
‘Beats Me Up’ (ft. Coucheron) is out now with Part I of her album set to drop in 2023, both via Toothfairy.
