Set to release on June 28th via Audio Antihero, their debut mini-album Pessimistic Pizza marks the end of a ten-year hiatus for the much-lauded Parker brothers.

My Best Unbeaten Brother, the new project from the Parker brothers (Nosferatu D2, Tempertwig, Superman Revenge Squad) and Ben Fry (The Jonbarr Hinge), has unveiled their final single ‘Blues Fatigue’ from their upcoming debut mini-album Pessimistic Pizza. ‘Blues Fatigue,’ a shuddering pop-rock song, touches on the influences of The Wedding Present and The Hold Steady while exuding a motivated optimism.

Vocalist/guitarist Ben Parker reflects on the creation of the song during the COVID lockdown, describing it as a beacon of hope for overcoming the blues:

“In the COVID lockdown period, when we were all quarantine-agers, but outside of that period of time it still stands as a general hope for the blues to go away.”

‘Blues Fatigue’ is out now. The debut mini-album Pessimistic Pizza, is scheduled for release on June 28th via Audio Antihero.
