M. Byrd shares new single ‘Gunslinger’
Shared from his upcoming album, The Seed, M. Byrd releases a thought-proving new single ‘Gunslinger.’
Inspired by the unfathomable enlisting of youth in the army, German-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer M. Byrd releases his new single ‘Gunslinger,” which unfurls like a film as guitar echoes underneath narrative, emotional lyrics.
“One day, I was on the internet and stumbled on a pop-up. It said ‘You can go to a Ukrainian embassy in Berlin and be at war in a few days to fight.’ I had been imagining guys and girls my age signing up, getting a weapon in their hands, and fighting away. It drove me crazy. I couldn’t imagine this was happening.”
