Portuguese indie-pop artist reflects on missed opportunities in melancholic anthem.

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Luís Fernandes returns with his latest single, ‘Let You Go.’ The track, released via APOLLO Distribution, showcases Fernandes’ evolution as an artist and his ability to infuse relatable experiences into his music.

Speaking on the inspiration behind ‘Let You Go’, Luís shares:

“This is a song I wrote about missing your chance on a meaningful relationship and that “too little, too late” feeling. I wanted the chorus to be everything you wished you could say to this person but never will, a cry for help basically. This track also marks a change in my sound, having a more pop-leaning hook but still keeping a few acoustic and indie elements. I wrote, produced, and mixed it by myself and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

‘Let You Go’ is out now on all streaming services.
