Lo Lauren returns with her first single of 2024, ‘No Good in Goodbye’
Following the success of her previous single ‘Monster,’ Lo Lauren continues to captivate audiences with her empowering lyrics and infectious pop sound.
Produced by andysocialclub and mixed by Jeremy Wheatley (known for his work with Taylor Swift, Sia, and Robbie Williams), ‘No Good In Goodbye’ delves into the raw emotions of a breakup. The accompanying music video, shot in London by Sam Sure, features stunning visuals including a vintage Alfa Romeo and Lo’s mother’s wedding dress, adding depth to the song’s narrative.
Lo Lauren opens up about the inspiration behind the track, stating:
“Breaking up with someone is never easy, but it’s a real smack in the face when it turns out to ache a lot more than you thought it would. ‘No Good in Goodbye’ is a melodramatic reminder that no matter what the situation, goodbye is always gonna hurt (at least at first).”
Reflecting on the music video concept, Lo Lauren shares, “I wanted this video to be an outpour of melodrama, exploring that angsty, inconsolable period of time post-breakup, where you are doubting every decision you ever made.”
‘No Good in Goodbye’ is out now.
