kid apollo release a warm and cozy lo-fi track about a relationship starting to take shape.

Brixton, London trio kid apollo have released their latest single, ‘know where to find me.’ The track is about a budding relationship that appears to crystalize before the listener: “as i feel her hand sweat on mine / i thought you were the type / that would never be on edge” sings Jimmy, before the song expands with the addition of distorted guitars and chugging percussion.

Speaking to the track, Jimmy added more insight to the song’s lyrical meaning:

“This song talks about the more specific things that happen between two people. I’d usually approach the lyrics more vaguely but it’s sometimes best to talk about the details as these are what actually distinguish the people you cross over time. Once we finished the track, we got quite a clear vision of what we wanted to the video to look like. Half the video was shot in Scotland and the rest in London – it’s the first time we’ve ever really played with dialogue and properly weaving in a storyline into the video.”

‘know where to find me’ is available today on all streaming services.
