Brixton trio kid apollo releases R&B single + self-directed video, ‘all on me’
kid apollo drops a contemplative lo-fi R&B single + self-directed video, ‘all on me.’
Brixton-based trio kid apollo releases their latest single and video ‘all on me.’ Produced by kid apollo with additional production from Dom Valentino (dexter, Skepta, NAYANA IZ) and mixed by JHJ (cityboymoe, Mac Wetha, Olivia Dean), ‘all on me’ is their first new track since their breakthrough debut EP all i think about in 2021.
Speaking on the release of the new track, singer Jimmy said:
“‘all on me’ is just me talking about how the small things can affect and influence one another when you’re talking to someone. Quickly, these small things start to seem much bigger than they should be, but that’s neither person’s fault. The song for us just felt like a good way of expressing this without it feeling too serious, which things way too often do.”
Consisting of twin brothers (and producers) Felix and Theo Ratigan and singer/producer Jimmy HM, the trio tackles their anxieties from teenage life in London through their original blend of contemplative lo-fi R&B.
kid apollo’s new single ‘all on me’ is out now, released August 18 via Sweat Entertainment.
