Jamie Webster releases a resonant call for peace in ‘How Do You Sleep At Night?’
Liverpool singer-songwriter, Jamie Webster, delivers an impactful anti-war anthem with his latest single, ‘How Do You Sleep At Night?’
The protest track, part of his upcoming album 10 For The People, aims to support the British Red Cross and raise awareness about the grim reality of conflict-stricken regions. Reflecting on the song’s message, Webster underscores the urgency to stop the killing and extends a challenge to those contributing, in any form, to the violence of modern warfare, questioning their conscience and humanity.
Webster says:
“This is a song about war, which is wrong in any scenario. It’s a plea to stop the killing and help the people who’ve been forced to flee their war-torn country and granted refuge elsewhere. It’s also a plea to the governments of the countries who encourage these wars to look at their contrary right-wing policies on immigration, when they are, in fact, part of the reason that these people have had to flee in the first place.”
‘How Do You Sleep At Night?’ is available on all streaming services today.
