Palm Coast, Florida quartet Home is Where has released their first new music of 2023.

Home Is Where today announced their new album the whaler will be released on June 16th via Wax Bodega. Produced by Jack Shirley (Joyce Manor, Deafheaven) at Atomic Garden in Oakland, CA, the whaler is an ambitious and exhilarating concept record about getting used to things getting worse.

The album’s dynamic lead single ‘yes! yes! a thousand times yes!’ builds to an unfettered release as its lyrics depict an uneasy scene. Out now alongside a video directed by Texas Smith, frontwoman MacDonald explains the song “tells the story of two people faking normalcy in the normalcy of faking. The idea or even the image (no matter how altered or perfectly copied) of love is no substitute for the real.” Co-writer/multi-instrumentalist Komorny adds, “This song has the most pop elements, while also being one that strays away from a standard pop song structure.”

‘yes! yes! a thousand times yes!’ is out today. the whaler is out June 16, 2023, via Wax Bodega.
