Hojean slows everything down on his latest single ‘Cruel’
Released ahead of his upcoming EP Cherie, the Atlanta-based artist shares his latest addition to the project.
Hojean has released a sparse indie soul track, ‘Cruel.’ Highlighted by his delicate vocals on top of spacious beats and relaxed guitar, the smooth, soulful R&B track is drenched in nostalgic feels yet is firmly placed in the 21st century.
Speaking on the new release, Hojean states:
“Cruel is about no matter how many new faces you meet there’s always going to be that one you can’t seem to forget. whether it was left off in good blood or bad, overblown fake confidence to seem like you’re doing better than them, bad distractions to forget about that one someone, sometimes all you want in the end is closure.”
‘Cruel’ is out today. Cherie is set for release on September 21st.
