Flippeur drops a double single ‘Plastique’ and ‘Peur de l’avion’

Parisian punk outfit Flippeur are charging full speed ahead with the release of their double single ‘Plastique’ and ‘Peur de l’avion,’ out now via Howlin’ Banana Records.
Emerging from the heart of the Paris punk scene, Flippeur blends raw DIY energy with egg-punk influences and a uniquely French twist. On ‘Plastique,’ the band plunges into a 180 bpm rush of emotion—guitars scream, synths weep, and basslines haunt like echoes in an industrial wasteland. The pounding drums crash down like sledgehammers, creating a colder, sharper sound that veers toward post-punk territory.
Meanwhile, ‘Peur de l’avion’ (Fear of Flying) takes off from the tarmac with blistering force. Guitar riffs slice through the mix like jet engines, drums churn like turbulent air, and the synth radiates pure, anxious energy. The track melds garage grit with krautrock precision, all while staying true to the band’s egg-punk roots. Both songs highlight Flippeur’s ability to balance chaos and melody with humor and derision—a sound that’s fast becoming their signature.
‘Plastique’ and ‘Peur de l’avion’ are out now.
