Leeds-born, London-based artist Eden Rain returns with a new heartwarming, tender single ‘Pet Names.’

Back with her fifth single of 2023 Eden Rain has delivered a laid-back, hazy track about those that are so kind to you even though you feel unwanted and undeserving. ‘Pet Names’ sees the Londoner shine as she paints a clear picture of unwavering love.

Eden shares what the song means to her:

“I wrote this song with the feeling of tenderness in mind. Wrote about someone people so kind and taking care of you when you feel unlovable and pathetic and useless. It’s sort of like that feeling where someone is so nice to you and treats you amazingly but you feel undeserving and a complete lame loser idiot. It’s crazy how someone can see so much good and tenderness in you when you don’t feel any of that towards yourself. I called it Pet Names because sometimes I can be a little disorganised chaotic mess and the people that love me, take to feeding me, cleaning up after me, taking me on walks…. I’m like a little pocket pet.”

‘Pet Names’ is out now. To keep up to date with Eden Rain check out her socials below.
