Deadbeat Girl (Val Olson) unveils two new singles, ‘These Walls’ and ‘More’ completing the release of their stunning debut EP What Will It Take?

South Florida native Val Olsen (Deadbeat Girl) has delivered their debut EP with the release of ‘These Walls’ and ‘More.’ Written during the pandemic the tracks are both self-produced and focus on her life growing up in a conservative Florida community.

Here’s Deadbeat Girl discussing the tracks’ history:

“I started writing these songs when I was 16. I was full of those aches and pains of being a teenager. They touch on young teenage heartache and conflicting relationships. I’ve grown up with these songs and even though my voice and sound has matured, these experiences during my formative years will forever be a big part of my life.”

‘These Walls’ and ‘More’ are out today as well as their debut EP What Will It Take?
