Das Koolies’ ‘Nuthin Sandwich’ is a whole lot of something as the track delves into the world of electro-psych-pop with reckless abandon.
Das Koolies have released their next single off of their upcoming debut album, DK.01. The track, ‘Nuthin Sandwich,’ reaches back to the past while looking towards the future as it blends warped pop with overlapping electronica.
Here’s the band discussing the track:
“Small town America. Long roads with no changes to the view. New Mexico? Arizona? Truth or Consequence. Big country, big guns, big trucks. A first world country with parts of it stuck in the third.”
The band has also announced three in-store appearances at Rough Trade shops coming this fall:
Friday, September 22 – Rough Trade East, London
Monday, October 2 – Rough Trade Bristol
Tuesday, October 3 – Rough Trade Nottingham
