DAMEFRISØR release ‘The Grip’
DAMEFRISØR share their latest track from their forthcoming debut EP Island Of Light.
The last time we heard a new DAMEFRISØR track (D.O.D.) we were just a few days into the new year. Today, the Bristol-based sextet have shared their new single ‘The Grip.’ The latest taste from their upcoming debut EP Island of Light, the track boasts large industrial soundscapes prime for stereo speakers.
“We tried to give space to let the bass and percussion drive the song alongside the giant cavernous grinding lead line starting in the first chorus,” the band notes. “After that it was a case of finding guitar and synth phrases to contrast and compliment the driving forces without making things too muddy.”
‘DAMEFRISØR’s debut EP Island Of Light is out February 24th. ‘The Grip’ is out now via Permanent Creeps Records.
