Norwegian pop superstar Dagny has returned with her latest single, ‘Brightsider’
Dagny releases a feel-good track made for a summer full of good vibes.
As an ever-positive being, Dagny has always been told that she can see the best even in the direst of circumstances. It’s in that space where the Norwegian pop superstar’s latest single, ‘Brightsider’ was born. The song is an upbeat feel-good track that is bound to put you in a good mood.
‘Brightsider’ follows the release of her widely praised debut album, Strangers / Lovers from 2020, and the 2021 hit single with Astrid S, ‘Pretty.’
Dagny goes on to describe the track: “One of my strengths and best qualities is precisely that I can see the positive instead of digging myself down. ‘Brightsider’ became an outlet for this.”
Additionally, Dagny expresses her excitement of finally bringing the song to her live performances: “For me, playing live has always been the alpha and omega of being a musician,” says Dagny. “Almost like the meaning of life, actually. I have been working on this song (and more new music!) and I’m so excited to bring it to the stage later this summer.”
‘Brightsider’ is out now via her own Little Daggers Records under an exclusive license agreement with Universal Music AS in a joint venture with Polydor DE.
