Cosmic Strip returns with new single ‘Another Day’
In a deeply personal offering, ‘Another Day’ encapsulates a poignant reflection on the transient nature of memory.
London-based dream-pop artist Cosmic Strip marks a remarkable return after five years with their latest single, ‘Another Day.’ Released today, the track, rich with bittersweet euphoria, promises to captivate audiences with its immersive blend of shoegazing guitars, pounding drums, and ethereal vocals. The track’s artwork is composed from over a thousand photographs from band founder Camella Agabalyan’s youth in Hastings, evoke a nostalgic and emotionally charged narrative.
Agabalyan shares:
“The track is a celebration of the friendships I had while hanging out in Hastings. It remembers the good times, reflects on how these friendships inevitably drift apart, and mourns those that we have lost along the way. The lyrics are me imagining what it would be like if I were no longer around, and about the memories that I hope we can hold onto.”
‘Another Day’ is a self-released track and out now on all streaming services.
