In addition to the album release, Bonny Light Horseman has announced an extensive North American tour, including performances at renowned festivals such as Bonnaroo Music & Arts, Winnipeg Folk Festival, and Red Wing Roots. The tour will also feature a West Coast leg in October, culminating in a highly anticipated show at Los Angeles’ The Ford.

Bonny Light Horseman, the acclaimed trio comprising Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson, and Josh Kaufman, has released their latest single, ‘Old Dutch.’ Released today alongside a music video the soul-stirring track offers a narrative of love in flux.

The recording of ‘Old Dutch’ took place at Levis Corner House pub in Ballydehob, Ireland, against the backdrop of a lively crowd, as depicted in the accompanying video. Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson, and Josh Kaufman share insights into the song’s genesis, revealing that it was born from a backstage voice memo during a performance at the Old Dutch Church in Kingston, NY.

Bonny Light Horseman’s forthcoming double album, Keep Me on Your Mind/See You Free, is scheduled for release on June 7, 2024.
