beachtown share new EP UNSAYABLE via Young Poet Records
beachtown complete the release of their sophomore EP with their latest single ‘Like Anyone.’
London-based alternative duo beachtown share their brand new EP UNSAYABLE today via Young Poet (WOOZE, Conor Albert) with new single ‘Like Anyone’ and accompanying music video.
The final song on the project, but the first written, ‘Like Anyone,’ is a highly personal track for vocalist Zaine. Here he is explaining why this track means so much to him. He says:
“‘Like Anyone’ is the feeling of dissociating / disconnecting from yourself… I had a time where I would feel like that nearly every evening or at least once a day. I started writing it when I was feeling that way and it sort of helped me clear up what I was going through. It’s probably the one that means most to me and in the song there’s also recordings of me talking with my grandma in Spanish in her house in Barcelona.”
‘Like Anyone’ is available today. UNSAYABLE is out now via Young Poet.
