Bristol-based indie four-piece Adult Leisure explore unhealthy relationships in an introspective new single ‘Bad Idea.’

Formed during the pandemic, Bristol-based Adult Leisure have released their first new music of 2023. Follow up to their debut EP released in late 2022 entitled The Weekend Ritual, ‘Bad Idea’ is a powerful and introspective track that explores the complicated dynamics of unhealthy relationships.

Reflecting on the single the band state:

“‘Bad idea’ is an honest answer to the relationships that we lie about to keep the peace, and avoid the new and unknown. It’s an introspective yet universal song of acceptance of unhappiness. It’s a raw and honest take on the struggles we face in relationships, and it really solidifies the sound of our band. The lyrics are honest and relatable, and we hope that they will resonate with anyone who’s ever been in a similar situation. We’re really proud of this track, and we feel like it’s a great representation of who we are as a band.”

‘Bad Idea’ is out now.
