1tbsp drops ‘Four Tet Is My Godmother’
Australia’s 1tbsp drops the opening track to his new EP due out on March 16th.
Indie-dance project from Grammy Award Nominated artist Maxwell Byrne (1tbsp) has released the opening track to his upcoming It’s Very Loud EP. And can we just take a moment to appreciate the epic song title? ‘Four Tet Is My Godmother’ might just be the coolest and quirkiest title of the year. But don’t be fooled by the name, this track is not to be underestimated.
Here’s Maxwell discussing the 5-minute opener:
“I came up with the idea for this track whilst I was in New York recently. As so many people have expressed before, there’s something about NY that makes me feel so inspired and want to push my ideas to its limits. I worked at making this track to be really dynamic (inspired by some Daphni & Axel Boman tracks) where the song comes up and down in volume so some parts of the track feel very loud (also the name of my upcoming EP).”
