Rising Melbourne electronic artist Re:abel (Ryan Gasparini) releases his sophomore EP, Otherside, a hypnotizing three-track collection that delves into the ethereal realms of Future and UK Garage.

Produced by: Ryan Gasparini

Otherside, the latest offering from Re:abel, transcends conventional sonic boundaries, exploring the nuanced landscapes of Future and UK Garage electronica. The EP opens with ‘Carbonceramics,’ a previously released track showcasing a gentler and more nuanced facet of Ryan’s production. Distant vocals, soft percussions, and lush pads gradually build, leading to the intro of sub-bass, a thumping kick, and fluttering arpeggio sequences. The chopped, reverb-soaked vocals guide the listener through an immersive sonic journey.

In crafting this EP, Ryan Gasparini aimed to summarize the essence of his music-making motivation:

“With this latest EP, I tried to create three tracks that each represent an element of what drives me to write music. Each of the three songs has a slightly different mood but still remains cohesive with each other and firmly planted in the emotional electronic/UK-influenced dance field – music that leaves you feeling a melting pot of different feelings – both wistfully melancholic, yet full of inspiration and hope.”

Released via Mammal Sounds Records, the EP underscores Ryan’s ability to blend diverse emotions seamlessly while staying true to the emotional electronic and UK-influenced dance genre. The tracks, namely ‘Carbonceramics,’ ‘Concentrate,’ and the titular ‘Otherside,’ collectively highlight Re:abel’s prowess in creating atmospheric and emotionally charged electronic music.

Re:abel’s Otherside EP stands as a testament to Ryan Gasparini’s ability to craft an immersive and emotionally resonant sonic experience. With its ethereal soundscape and cohesive yet diverse tracks, the EP establishes Re:abel as an emerging force in the Future and UK Garage electronica genre. As the latest offering from Melbourne’s electronic frontier, Otherside invites listeners to explore the sonic landscapes that Re:abel admirably paints with his music.
