Sydney-based producer Jake Edwards, the creative force behind Jantoje, unveils his latest EP, Verano, available now via Mammal Sounds Records.

Produced by: Jake Edwards

Crafting a distinctive fusion of indie-dance and electro-house, Jantoje’s musical palette resonates with echoes of Rufus Du Sol, Odesza, and Hayden James. His latest EP, Verano, follows the release of two stellar singles, ‘Runaway’ (feat. Beach Season) and ‘Honesty,’ building anticipation for this three-track musical tapestry. One of the EP’s highlights is the previously unreleased indie-dance gem, ‘Heart Strings.’

Jantoje shares his creative journey:

“This track was first started about two or three years ago. It wasn’t until I was going through all my project files from an old computer earlier this year when I came across it again. I had the progression down and added a vocal sample which I liked and chopped it up a bit with some resampling. Even though the song was first started a few years ago, it actually came together quite quickly and goes to show how your creativity can change over time. I hope this track makes listeners want to dance at a festival or to go traveling and explore!”

Co-written by Jake Edwards, Samuel Avant, and Simon Blitzer, the Verano EP is a testament to Jantoje’s sonic craftsmanship. Produced and mixed by Jake Edwards, with mastering by Wayne Sutherland, the EP is a sonic adventure that invites listeners to lose themselves in its vibrant beats and evocative melodies.
