Rapidly rising Chinese-American alt-pop musician Emei releases a bold debut EP End of an Era.

Consisting of six tracks Emei’s debut is filled with candid accounts of young adulthood. Sultry, reflective, and witty the songs take you through her life up to this point. From the edgy ‘Late To The Party’ to the pop anthem ‘That Girl’ Emei’s End of an Era seems to constantly push the right buttons.

Talking about her second single off the EP Emei describes the motivation behind ‘That Girl’:

“Written on a whim after weeks of trying to keep a habit checklist and failing miserably. The pop-rock inspired anthem encapsulates the energy of wanting so badly to be that girl who wakes up at 6 AM, goes on walks every morning, and drinks coffee black but never getting to that unattainable goal.”

End of an Era is available today on all streaming services.

Standout Songs: Late To The Party, Ferris Bueller, Trust Issues, That Girl
