Singer/songwriter Kate Voegele and songwriter/producer Michael Grubbs join forces in the synth-pop/rock duo Your Future Ghost.
In their first single of 2024, Your Future Ghost concocts a sonic elixir that invites listeners to a wild indie dance party. The track, ‘PRITTY,’ navigates the fine line between being a bit unhinged and irresistibly magnetic.
“‘PRITTY’ is about being a little unhinged but also irresistible. You’re self-aware enough to know you’re kind of a mess, but you also not sorry about it because you’re a god damned blast to have around. It’s kind of about just knowing that the weirdest thing about you is probably also the coolest thing about you, and not being afraid to celebrate that even if it makes some people mad or uncomfortable.”
