YAANG releases chaotic new single ‘Airport Barfight’

Manchester punk trio YAANG returns with their electrifying new single ‘Airport Barfight,’ out now.
‘Airport Barfight’ encapsulates the band’s signature blend of biting drum machines, punk-rock irreverence, and clever social commentary. Produced by Beck Clewlow of Stoke’s Formal Sppeedwear, the track rushes through its two-minute span with a feverish mix of noise and wit.
Guitarist Oliver Duffy explains:
“The lyrics to ‘Airport Barfight’ are about being at a crossroads in life between clinging onto your early 20s for dear life amidst the looming threat of ageing into a mature adult. “Singing along to an airport barfight” is about watching the world go by around you and remaining a spectator. “You know the sun will dry the rain but it won’t fry the egg on the floor” is about how certain things can be left to chance but ultimately you can’t rely on the universe to do everything for you.”
‘Airport Barfight’ is available on all major streaming platforms today.
