Wishy announces their highly anticipated debut LP, Triple Seven, set to be released on August 16th via Winspear.

Led by celebrated Indiana songwriters Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites, Wishy has garnered widespread acclaim for their distinct sound, earning praise as a “Band To Watch.”

The lead single from Triple Seven, titled ‘Love On The Outside,’ exemplifies Wishy’s sonic evolution and lyrical depth. With its blend of pillowy atmospherics and scathing distortion, the track captures the excitement and frustration of early romance, offering a glimpse into the band’s introspective journey.

In describing the inspiration behind ‘Love On The Outside,’ Kevin Krauter shares:

“This song is about that exciting yet frustrating early phase of a romance when there is uncertainty about where things will go. The scales could tip in either direction and often patience starts to wear thin. Sometimes you just wanna grab someone by the shoulders and be like ‘Okay, what’s up for real!’ It was fun to bring that kind of melodramatic energy into a song.”

Recorded primarily in Indiana with engineer and co-producer Ben Lumsdaine, Triple Seven promises to be a dynamic fusion of shoegaze, grunge, and power-pop, reminiscent of the bygone big-budget rock albums that inspired it.

As anticipation builds for the release of Triple Seven, fans can preorder and presave the album to ensure they’re among the first to experience Wishy’s debut LP. ‘Love On The Outside’ is available today.
