Wild Pink teams with Fenne Lily on tender rework of ‘Disintegrate’ ahead of deluxe album release

Wild Pink has unveiled ‘Disintegrate – Edit,’ a reimagined version of the deep cut from their acclaimed fifth studio album Dulling The Horns. The new version features UK singer-songwriter Fenne Lily and arrives alongside news of a deluxe edition due out October 3 via Fire Talk Records.
The updated version of ‘Disintegrate’ finds Fenne Lily adding her signature hushed melancholy to the song, transforming it into something gentler and more intimate. With Theo Munger contributing percussion and vocals, the arrangement strips away the original’s gritty steel for a more atmospheric, layered sound.
“I’m a huge fan of Fenne’s music, so I was honored she agreed to do it. I’ve listened to it a bunch of times, and it sounds like a new song to me.”
Fenne Lily adds:
“When John asked me to contribute to this release, I screamed ‘hell yes’ and eagerly awaited a snow day — Dulling the Horns is my most listened to album of the last couple of years, so it was an honour and a privilege to hole up in a Vermont attic and cobble together this cover of ‘Disintegrate.'”
Wild Pink’s Dulling The Horns (Deluxe Edition) drops October 3. The band continues its North American tour through mid-August, with upcoming stops in Seattle, Vancouver, and Los Angeles.
