Wila Frank releases her new single ‘The Returning Dream’
Fresh on the heels of her last single in late-September, Nashville-based artist Wila Frank returns with her second single from her upcoming album.
Wila Frank has returned with her band to deliver her latest single, ‘The Returning Dream.’ Backed by Royal Masat (Billy Strings) on bass and Wendy Killman (Jenny Beth, etc.) on drums, Frank lays her vocals upon a stripped-down track laced with nostalgic violins and humble percussion.
Here she is discussing Black Cloud:
“There’s an element of escapism and processing my past, but this album is really about expressing parts of myself that I don’t share in my everyday life,” she says, “It’s me speaking the things I can’t say in words.”
‘The Returning Dream’ is out now and follows her last single ‘The Falling Hours.’
