The Lathums release their soaring album opener ‘Struggle’
The Lathums dig deep to show what’s inside with a soaring, scarred, and courageous album opener.
England’s The Lathums have released a new single, ‘Struggle.’ Taken from their upcoming second album, From Nothing To A Little Bit More, the opening track highlights the difficulties and personal fragility many individuals deal with on a daily basis.
Reflecting on the track Moore says of writing ‘Struggle’:
“It’s about loss, someone who has gone from your life and has its roots in our early college days. Scott [Concepcion – guitars/piano] has a piano in his house and up to that point I’d never had contact with the piano, but the more we hung out, the more I played around on it. This is the song that came out of me and it’s been difficult to show people up until now. It’s so personal.”
‘Struggle’ is available today. Their new album, From Nothing To A Little Bit More, is set for release on Friday, March 3, 2023.
