Shoegaze/dream pop duo The Know release their first new music in two years.

The Know have released their lead single off of their upcoming second EP (EP2). The track details how complex relationships became during the pandemic. Sonically, ‘Used To Be’ features fuzzed-out guitars and hazy vocals a la The Jesus and Mary Chain or Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Knowles confides:

“…Then of course the pandemic hit, people all around us were having their relationships tested in lockdown with significant others, some relationships came out stronger, some didn’t survive. And on a more universal scale lots of people worldwide were dealing with a loss of normality, loss of connection with other people, suddenly not being able to do simple things like buy groceries, things we’d all taken for granted.”

‘Used To Be’ is available today. Keep an eye out for EP2 due out soon.
