The Flatliners confront modern myths on ‘Inner Peace’
The Flatliners release their new single ‘Inner Peace,’ the latest preview from their upcoming album Cold World, set for release on May 8 via Equal Vision Records and Dine Alone Records.
‘Inner Peace’ captures the Canadian punk band’s sharp-edged sound with a direct thematic focus, taking aim at the parallels between modern wellness culture and religious indoctrination. Driven by fast, tightly wound instrumentation, the track leans on the band’s dual-guitar attack from Chris Cresswell and Scott Brigham, alongside the steady rhythm section of bassist Jon Darbey and drummer Paul Ramirez. The result is a forceful, high-tempo composition that balances urgency with reflection, emphasizing tension between self-improvement ideals and personal authenticity.
‘Inner Peace’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
