The Coral travel to ‘Faraway Worlds’ on their latest single
The Coral release their fourth single, ‘Faraway Worlds,’ from their upcoming full-length album, Sea of Mirrors.
English rock band, The Coral have released their final single prior to the release of their upcoming eleventh studio album. The track, ‘Faraway Worlds,’ is about the innocence of childhood and the imagination that came along with it.
Here’s James Skelly discussing the track:
“Ian and I wrote this one together. We were trying to capture the feeling of when we were kids, creating our own worlds. Lyrically, it’s inspired by Dylan Thomas, musically by John Martyn, and the more pastoral side of Pink Floyd.”
‘Faraway Worlds’ is out now. Sea of Mirrors is set for release on September 8, 2023.
