Today, Leeds-based noise-rock band Thank released their latest single, ‘Do It Badly,’ providing a chaotic yet motivational preview of their upcoming album I Have A Physical Body That Can Be Harmed, set to drop on November 8th via Big Scary Monsters.

Following the success of their previous single, ‘Writing Out A List Of All The Names Of God,’ which garnered praise from various media outlets, Thank continues to build anticipation with ‘Do It Badly.’ The track showcases their signature blend of anxious disco grooves, harsh noise, and sprechgesang, all while embracing the joy of “malicious compliance” and the importance of getting things done, even if done poorly. The band’s raw energy and unapologetic delivery are on full display in this second single.

Frontman Freddy Vinehill-Cliffe explains the inspiration behind ‘Do It Badly,’ saying:

“‘Do It Badly’ has become kind of a motivational mantra in my household. If something is important to you, I think it’s really helpful to acknowledge that getting it done to any standard, even a poor standard, even a total shitshow standard, is better than not doing it at all.”

‘Do It Badly’ is out now.
