‘Rock N Roll Flu’ marks the return of Super Furry Animals

Super Furry Animals have returned with ‘Rock N Roll Flu,’ a long-lost glam anthem unearthed ahead of their Love Kraft 20th anniversary reissue. The band will embark on the newly expanded 2026 Supacabra Tour, performing in multiple cities across Britain and Ireland.
‘Rock N Roll Flu’ is a stomping, harmony-rich slice of synth-specked glam rock that channels the band’s signature mix of humor, melody, and euphoric energy. Originally recorded during sessions for 2005’s Love Kraft, the track was rediscovered recently during preparations for the anniversary reissue. Sung by drummer Daf Ieuan, the song is a celebration of hedonistic touring and a timely reminder of the Furries’ knack for turning chaos into pop brilliance. Its release coincides with the band readying for their first live performances in nearly a decade, as the 2026 Supacabra Tour will bring them to venues throughout Britain and Ireland.
Ieuan explained:
“It’s a song about one of the very worst hangovers I have ever had. We were on our way to Tokyo, and I took in some refreshments before taking off and topped up during the flight. Arriving in a totally different time zone and being unable to sleep, we took off into the night when we got there. The perfect conditions for absolute dehydration. Which tour was it? Well, your guess is as good as mine.”
‘Rock N Roll Flu’ is out now.
