Subtronics and Flowdan reunite on relentless new single ‘Hunter’
Subtronics and UK grime heavyweight Flowdan join forces again for the explosive new single ‘Hunter,’ out today, via Cyclops Recordings.
Marking their first collaboration since 2022’s ‘Gassed Up,’ ‘Hunter’ delivers a ferocious blend of Subtronics’ razor-sharp sound design and Flowdan’s unmistakable vocal attack. Known for his commanding presence on tracks like ‘Baddadan’ and ‘Rumble,’ Flowdan brings that same intensity to ‘Hunter,’ perfectly complementing the producer’s immersive, bass-heavy production. The track has already made a splash in the live arena, debuting at Subtronics’ sold-out Miami Music Week event ‘Deadbeats vs Cyclops’ and again during both nights of his sold-out Cyclops Rocks shows at Red Rocks, where Flowdan joined the stage to perform.
‘Hunter’ arrives as a standalone single but lands in the wake of Subtronics’ newest EP, Fibonacci Part 1: Oblivion, released via Cyclops Recordings. The eight-track project is the first installment of a two-part series that will eventually converge into a full-length album. While Part 1 is tailored for high-energy live sets, fans can expect a distinct shift in tone with the forthcoming Part 2, promising an entirely different listening journey.
