Special Friend cut into new sonic territory on ‘Clipping’
Special Friend releases their new single ‘Clipping’ alongside a music video that mirrors the lo-fi aesthetic of their previous visuals. The track arrives ahead of their upcoming album of the same name.
Formed in Paris in 2018, the Franco-American duo of Erica Ashleson (drums, vocals) and Guillaume Siracusa (guitar, vocals) built their sound on minimalist indie pop rooted in spontaneity and imperfection. With ‘Clipping,’ the band continues that foundation while signaling the broader sonic shift of the upcoming record.
‘Clipping’ is out now and available to stream. Clipping is due out March 20th via Hidden Bay, Skep Wax, and Howlin Banana.
