Oklahoma City-based band some fear has dropped their latest single, ‘Skin I Can’t Peel.’ The track comes ahead of their self-titled debut album, some fear, which is set to release on January 16, 2025, via Rite Field Records.

‘Skin I Can’t Peel’ is a slow-burning meditation on change, growth, and the complexities of personal history. The track features unhurried guitar riffs that unfold with a sense of deliberate weight, highlighting the band’s distinctive sound, a mix of slowcore and lo-fi rock.

Speaking about the song, frontman Branden Palesano explains:

“‘Skin I Can’t Peel’ is a song I wrote about meeting someone where they’re at in life, regardless of your common past. It’s about accepting, growing, and realizing we all change as we grow older and shed our old skin.”

‘Skin I Can’t Peel’ is out now.
