samxemma confront toxic cycles on ‘SEE SEE WHERE WE GO’
samxemma release their new single ‘SEE SEE WHERE WE GO’ today, February 19, 2026, alongside announcing the forthcoming EP Us Forever, out March 20 via September Recordings. The Manchester-based electronic/pop duo return with a track that expands their club-driven DIY sound.
‘SEE SEE WHERE WE GO’ blends restless electronic production with pop-focused songwriting, pairing Emma’s direct lyricism against Sam’s genre-fluid production. Built around a push-and-pull between doubt and abandon, the new single explores the “let’s see where this goes” mindset while acknowledging the pull of toxic attachment. The track continues samxemma’s approach of merging high-energy electronic elements with emotionally candid themes, positioning the release within the UK electronic pop space while maintaining their DIY edge.
On the new single, Emma said:
‘SEE SEE WHERE WE GO’ is actually a super self-destructive song. Staying in a toxic cycle, staying with a toxic person, ignoring the horrible things they do to you because you’re too embarrassed to break up with them because you’ve already put effort in the relationship. Classic. It’s like that glimmer of hope every time they do something near the bare minimum. Feeling like a fucking idiot. Not being able to see the truth in front of you. Only realising the truth years after.
“Also being attracted to losers and loving the loser tendencies like ‘ya you’re so hot for hating yourself and everything around you it’s definitely not fake and weird as fuck and you definitely don’t need therapy’. But also you can ignore all that and it’s like yay let’s see where we go in life 🫰”
‘SEE SEE WHERE WE GO’ is out now. Us Forever arrives March 20 via September Recordings. Available now to stream and pre-save.
We’ve covered samxemma previously: ‘You Know I Love You.’
