Sametime step into a new chapter with ‘Is This The End?’
Sametime have released their new single ‘Is This The End?’ today, sharing the latest track from their forthcoming EP Get Out Whilst You Can, due February 13th.
The Australian-born brothers, now based in Brighton, England, use ‘Is This The End?’ as a reflective and emotionally driven release that documents a major turning point in their lives. Written after moving more than 11,000 miles from Australia to the UK, the track captures both anxiety and optimism, framing the experience as a personal record of change rather than a dramatic farewell. Its expansive pop arrangement underscores the sense of risk and possibility that defines the moment.
Speaking about the single, Tim Aitken explains:
“This song is the most personal song we have. It’s about when we first moved to the other side of the world, away from everything we’ve ever known. he song is more of a diary entry of everything going through our heads. It’s about coming to terms with sacrificing time with our friends and family, knowing it was potentially that it could be the last time we’d see some of them.”
‘Is This The End?’ is out now and available to stream on all digital platforms.
