Newcastle folk/chamber-pop artist Ruth Lyon releases new single ‘Clown’
Ruth Lyon releases the second track from her upcoming EP Direct Debit To Vogue.
Ruth Lyon has released her latest track ‘Clown’ via Pink Lane Records. The song explores the temptation of reckless decisions.
Ruth speaks on the lyrical inspiration behind her new single:
“Jim Morrison said of himself: ‘I think of myself as an intelligent, sensitive human but with the soul of a clown which always forces me to blow it at the most crucial moments.’ I totally relate! We’ve all got that clown living inside of us, leading us down a crazy lane, tripping us up at the last turn in the road when we think it’s all going so well. But, that’s sometimes when I feel most alive.”
Ruth Lyon’s new EP Direct Debit To Vogue will be released on November 26 via Pink Lane Records. Her new single ‘Clown’ is out now.
