Montreal-based post-punk outfit Ribbon Skirt have shared their searing new track ‘LUCKY8’ and announced their upcoming EP PENSACOLA, due October 3 via Mint Records.
Fueled by woozy, droning guitars and vocals cloaked in distortion and feedback, ‘LUCKY8’ transforms the lingering emotional weight of their debut into a raw sonic surge. Traversing abstract emotional terrain, the track spirals through memory and desire, searching for a flicker that might reignite the past.
