Red Ribbon unleashes raw emotion with new single ‘YSFP’

Emma Danner, the force behind Red Ribbon, has released her visceral new single ‘YSFP,’ a gritty glimpse into her forthcoming self-titled album set for release on November 1st via Danger Collective Records.
‘YSFP,’ short for “You’re So Fucking Pretty,” is a song brimming with intensity. It merges crashing guitars with thunderous drums, evoking a sense of emotional chaos that perfectly reflects Danner’s state of mind during its creation. Written just days before a breakup, the song is a cathartic release, capturing the raw immediacy of heartbreak. Produced by Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith, Cat Power), the track packs a sonic punch, with Danner’s vocals caught in a swirl of vulnerability and power.
Speaking about the song, Danner reveals:
“I wanted the raw emotions, the grief and freshness of that time to be palpable in the recording. I wanted to hear it in the vocals.”
‘YSFP’ is out now on your favorite DSP.
